The Bride: Stacy
The 26-year-old bride to be was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi; a small town located on a cliff overlooking the Mississippi River to Mr. & Mrs. Doug & Emily Hester. Stacy moved to Houston, TX in 1993 when her father, a retired United States Army SFC received a job promotion. She is the "baby" girl out of five siblings. She has three brothers and a sister. As a child, she had a passion for dance and cheerleading and would never sit down. Stacy began dancing at the age of five and would later go on to dance at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance, Steps on Broadway, become a National Cheerleading Association 3-time All American, Lamar University Cheerleader, Retired 3-Year NFL Houston Texans Cheerleader and now the owner of her own cheer company PRO Status Cheer. Stacy graduated from Lamar University (where she met her groom) in 2007 with a degree in Communications and an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. She is now a 6th grade Junior High Teacher, Cheer Coach and mentor. In her spare time, she loves scrapbooking, choreographing, yoga, shopping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants and of course, JABARI!!!



The Groom: Jabari

Jabari Lockett, the 25-year-old groom to be was born in the great state of Texas; Houston to be exact. He
was raised and educated in Channelview, Texas by his father and mother, Jerry and Kim Lockett. The oldest of three boys, Jabari showed an early interest in sports.

He learned at the young age of four, that soccer would ultimately be his favorite sport. He would go on to play soccer for twenty one years and earned many honors and accolades. After graduating from high school, Jabari attended Lamar University. While at Lamar, Jabari became a sports photographer for the campus newspaper, "The University Press." He was also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and not to mention met the love of his life, Stacy. Jabari graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelors degree in General Studies with an emphasis in History and Communications. He is currently a high school teacher and enjoys taking pictures and giving back to the community.
