So with the help of my beautiful cousin/ bridesmaid Danielle, we have come up with the PERFECT theme for our Engagement Party next month!!! MARDI GRAS!!! With Jabari's family being from New Orleans and my absolute LOVE for the city, the theme is perfect for us! Jabari and I took our very 1st trip as a couple there! We had the most AMAZING time in the "Big Easy" and we have made it an annual trip every summer! A Month Ago Today Was The Happiest Day Of My Life...

I can't believe EXACTLY a month ago today, I was proposed to!!! Words CANNOT simply describe the amount of happiness and joy I feel in my heart! As a little girl, you grow up watching all these Disney fairy tales and wonder if dreams really do come true. I remember "Cinderella" being my favorite fairytale and the song, "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes." My dream and my fairytale surely came true on August 6, 2011 when my Prince Charming Jabari asked me to become his wife...
